Gabatoni’s was founded by Johnny Lynn and his wife Rosemary back in 1951. After completing his service in the United States Marine Corps, Johnny Lynn decided to take his love of food and share it with the community in which he lived. They had their first location at 300 Washington Street in Springfield, IL and stayed there for eight years. In 1959, they moved their beloved family-owned pizzeria to their present location on 300 Laurel Street, where they still make the freshest, most delicious pizza 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Their daughter Rosalie has been involved in the pie-making-process since 1951. Since her parents passed, Rosalie has carried on the tradition of providing quality meals at a reasonable price; using only the finest ingredients of the highest quality. Rosalie and our team at Gabatoni’s would like to thank all of you, our valued customers and friends, for sticking with us all of these years and giving us your unending support.
